What are Beer Stones?
That's a good question! Beer Stones are a new barware accessory for beer. They’re made out of soapstone, and they have hand engraved nucleation sites on them.
The nucleation sites continually release carbonation from your beer. As the bubbles rise up, they bring more aroma with them. They keep a lacey head of foam on your beer, which makes it taste smoother. They also reduce the amount of carbonation in your belly, which makes beer less filling.
How do you use them?
Set one in the bottom of your glass, and then pour your beer. Try to pour slowly, so you don’t make too much foam right away.
Can you use Beer Stones more than once?
Yes, Beer Stones are reusable. Simply wash them between uses to keep the engraving clean, and they will last for years to come.
Do I want a head of foam on my beer?
It depends. There are generally two types of beer drinkers.
If you like to drink straight from the bottle or can, then you probably prefer carbonation to stay in the beer, so Beer Stones may not be right for you.
However, if you like to pour your beer into a glass, then you probably prefer a head of foam and its aroma, so you should enjoy using Beer Stones.
How do you wash Beer Stones?
You can rinse them with tap water right after use. Otherwise place them in the dishwasher.
Do they keep the beer cold?
Yes, if you keep Beer Stones in the fridge or freezer, they will help beer stay cold a little longer.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your Beer Stones. You can return them in the first 30 days for any reason.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
Beer Stones have a 180 day worldwide warranty for reasonable use. Just let us know what happened.
What's the difference between the Olive shape and the Hop shape?
The difference is just aesthetic. Both versions function the same.
My original design was the olive version. It was simple, beer appropriate, the right size, and provided a great surface for engraving text and logos. I knew it would be great for companies to use as promotions, and great for wedding couples to use as wedding favors.
Later I added the hop version, because some people really like hoppy beers! It was also simple, beer appropriate, and the right size.
Do you have any patents?
Yes, the Beer Stone is patent pending.
